Open Coffee Lisburn

** Now in it’s second year ! **

Open Coffee Lisburn was founded in January 2009 by Russell McQuillan, Andrew Gribben and Simon McCartney

Open Coffee Lisburn is a unique and fantastic opportunity for young (and young and heart) people in business to meet and chat about a wide number of ever changing topics, including but not limited to, business, coffee, retail, economics, politics, technology, web, social media, telecoms, start-ups, big business, small business, advice and the list goes on.

There are currently about 20 people involved with Open Coffee Lisburn with about 10 making it to the bi-weekly meetings.

From OpenCoffee’s main site  :  The OpenCoffee Club was started in London to encourage entrepreneurs, developers and investors to organise real-world informal meetups to chat, network and grow. Read the blog post that started the ball rolling.

This is the online complement to that offline network. Meet people, find out what’s going on nearby you and then go and take part.

Anyone is welcome ! and we meet every second Thursday in McDonalds, Sprucefield, Lisburn.

    Hi,

I’d like to bring to your attention the call for proposals for entrepreneurs at the Openfund – you may get more info here http://ub0.cc/9b/Nf and in our website: http://theopenfund.com .

We’re looking for great teams of aspiring entrepreneurs with globally targeted, innovative ideas focused on the internet, software and mobile, while we provide hands on help on all things start-up as well as about 30k euro in seed capital.

We’re really looking forward to receiving applications from Lisburn and we’d appreciate it if you can help us spread the word in your region any way you consider appropriate.

    Thank you,
    Dimitris Athanasiadis
