Bitbuzz are a 5 star Wi-Fi provider, specializing in the hotel and cafe bar sector. The business was set up in 2003 in Dublin and have grown into Ireland’s leading Wi-Fi provider, My task this year was to bring the brand into Northern Ireland and set up a Belfast operational base in which to service the UK Market.
2009 will see us begin to expand the business into the mainland UK.
Bitbuzz On Board is a new division with in Bitbuzz that I am working on, we are currently about to begin trailing a mobile Wi-Fi platform to allow commuters to access high speed Wi-Fi on the go.
I set up eXtreme scouting in January 2008 as a means of driving down the front line cost of scouting to parents and leaders of the movement, eXtreme scouting is an online store specializing in camping gear, scarfs, uniforms and clothing. eXtreme scouting attended the Irish 100 year Jamboree in 2008 and will be attending the Sea Scout Jamboree in Nottingham, 2009.
As well as being a authorized stockist of the famous Scout and Proud brand, eXtreme scouting is currently developing its own clothing line, eXtreme Scout.
eXtreme scouting activly returns a profit to local scouting on a yearly basis, In 2008 we have been proud to support the LookWideMarra camp in Newcastle upon tyne and the Northern Ireland Network Scout and Leaders Ball. In 2009 we will support the Sea Scout 100 Jamboree and are seeking a partnership with a local scouting district to supply scarfs and uniform and return a profit directly to that district.
As an independant business mentor with the princes trust I help young people (18-30) start up on business and offer advice on all related areas involved in making a successful business.
